Voepel

Karen (Ren) Voepel is a professional photographer with experience spanning fine art, commercial, film work and reference work for artists. Since 2019, her work has been exhibited at Artisans on Main Gallery, La Veta, Colorado. Through KCK Southern Plains Photography, she has created images for sale as reference materials for western artists of all modalities. Commercial projects include supplying all photography and permanent artwork for the Cobblestone Hotel and numerous office building renovations. She has also served as continuity photographer on several films directed by Ken Spurgeon, including Contested Plains and Sod and Stubble, with another project in the works for 2025. Ren currently is a producer on the making of a film about the horses in Theadore Roosevelt National Park. Wildlife, wild horses, Native Americans and the southern Colorado plains area is of utmost interest to her.
