Wild Horse Weekend with Steve Anchell
May 23 to 25, Craig, Colorado

An exceptional opportunity to photograph wild horses in their natural free roaming environment – over 200 square miles of badlands and high desert. The workshop takes place in late May because this is the perfect time to observe and photograph the young foals. They have reached an age where they are frisky and playful and the mares are no longer overly protective.

Steve Anchell Wild Horse Workshop

Steve will share his techniques for photographing wild horses, including lens and camera selection, film or digital. But most of all, this workshop is about replenishing the spirit and finding your balance. Leave your stressful life behind and explore a place far from the tourist rush and off the beaten path. Steve Anchell is a contributing writer to Shutterbug magazine and has been teaching photography workshops since 1979.
