Problem from Mistover. I cannot seem to get a good skin tone out of this shot. It does not look blown out to me, but I do not have the best monitor.
My asa was 800 (which I do not ususally shoot at) because of the low light so this may have something to do with it.
Was wondering if anyone else had this problem or is it my slow lens. Normally, I would have whipped out my flash (lumidyne) and shot at a slower asa, but after walking up the hill to get to this, I was lucky to be verticle!
Thanks!!

PS: I only resized this to post here, no adjustments were made to the color or contrast.

I agree with Stacy on the lateral movements. I was in the wrong spot, too much in front of the riders. Mine just look like a jumble of legs!!
Got a lot of good trot stuff tho.
Another one from Pinnacle (thanks again Betty!!)

What's missing here is the sound of Brian calling out individual horse's names to "step it up" and the thunder of six tons of horses' shoes hitting the ashphalt. The entrance to Pinnacle Stables sits in the background.

This is just one wing of the Pinnacle Stable. Little Kaleigh was looking for the cat.
