Help Needed in ID'ing Photo and Photographer

Postby Earl Boebert on Fri May 18, 2012 12:53 pm

Hi. This is one of those things that can drive you nuts :-) I've seen this picture somewhere before but can't for the life of me identify it. It possibly was taken in New Mexico. Any and all help gratefully accepted.

Cheers,

Earl

Robert Farber. Drag and drop the image into the space line to do a search. Hope this helps!

Once you are at the website for Google Images, you will see a search bar. Just drag and drop any photo into that search bar and Google Images will look for it. It's one way to see who is using your photos with or without permission. :thumb:

Hee hee - you know you did something wrong in the 'Google Image Search' when you enter a show jumping photo and the results look like this! :hair:

Not sure what I did, but OMGIH - I hope no-one (besides a computer search engine) thinks a jumping shot looks like this.

(Other than that, Thanks Sharon, it's good to know about that feature. It looks like it should be straightforward, but I must have done something goofy.)

LOL! You confused Google, that's what you did. I've had the same thing happen. Something I get an uneasy feeling about a professional buying digital files for personal use. So, I drag and drop into the Google Images space bar. I may get results like yours, which means the image cannot be found. Or it will come back with several different websites where the photo was used.

Phew - that's a relief! Thanks for clarifying.

Kind of satisfying in an odd way to confuse Google since I'm usually the confused one!
