Utah Bill to Ban Unauthorized Photography on Farms

Postby Katy Moran on Mon Mar 05, 2012 7:20 pm

The Horse.com is reporting that there is a bill in the Utah legislature to ban unauthorized photography on farms and ranches.

This was possibly triggered by the Mustang activists video documentation of conditions in holding facilities as well as the many cases of animal abuse and neglect that have been surfacing in the news.

The sponsors of the bill are saying that it is to protect ranchers and farmers from "overzealous animal welfare" campaigners and "disgruntled employees."
