It is with great sadness that we report that Julia passed away suddenly on February 28. Julia was an active and generous member of the EPNet community and will be missed by many.
Julia worked hard at improving her photographic skills. She joined EPNet as a General Member in 2005 and upgraded to professional status in 2007.
It was a great source of pride to Julia that her photo "The Treat" won the People's Choice Award at the 2006 California Print Competition. Her photo "Life is a Beach" was also a popular favorite.
As a transplant recipient Julia's family has requested that donations be made to http://www.lifenet-foundation.org/ in lieu of flowers.
EPNet will be developing a scholarship fund in Julia's name, please stay tuned for details.
